Where's My Money?

John Patrick Shanley’s Where’s My Money? was the inaugural production by independent theatre company 7th Floor Theatre, performed in the intimate confines of The Burrow theatre in Fitzroy.

A razor sharp comedy from the writer of Moonstruck and Doubt among many others, Shanley’s play is a brutal, funny attack on capitalism and a world comprised entirely of winners and losers, lifters and leaners, the haves and the have-nots.

REVIEWS

“I’m not sure how but they performed as though they had sherbet in their blood. Their acting was terrific and the direction by Beng Oh was bang on. Their combined breathless pace demanded my concentration and rewarded it

Toorak Times

“This play has stayed with me for days, both the themes of the play and the performances of the cast. It is the sort of play that deserves a second viewing … This is theatre at its grass-roots best”

Australian Stage

“Director Beng Oh has done particularly well with scenes of sharp exchanges, where snarky lines earned solid laughs.”
